Especially Jongmyo Shrine usually operates on a reservation basis, it will be freely accessible during the Lunar New Year holiday. At Gyeongbokgung Palace, there will be a changing of the guard ceremony at 10:00 and 14:00.
Following this ceremony, there will be an event where visitors can receive a special painting called "Sehwa", which depicts a dragon background with the guard. "Sehwa" was traditionally shared during the Joseon era to celebrate the beginning of a new year, symbolizing wishes for peace and prosperity. It will serve as a beautiful souvenir to commemorate the Lunar New Year.
